A little about me
Mission
When I was about 14 years old I started working with my uncle’s construction company over the summers and holidays. I was so intrigued by all aspects of construction, it was real life Lincoln logs and I loved it and still do. During breaks and lunchtime instead of sitting around I would talk with the other trades people such as electricians, plumbers, HVAC and flooring installers to learn everything I could soak up about what they were doing and how to do it correctly and what not to do.
Vision
I became well versed in all areas of building a home, and extensive knowledge of how things went together. A few years later I started my own construction company, our motto was “Do it once-do it right” we built new homes which started with purchasing land right through handing keys to new owners. Working in northern New Jersey and eastern Pennsylvania our services extended to home inspections and home watch services for vacation homeowners.
In 1988 I moved to Sarasota and have lived here since, for the 30+ years living in Sarasota I have worked in construction management as well as a Building inspector with Sarasota County Government doing many home inspections. I have worked as a site manager for high end home builders locally from start to finish of projects dealing with clients through every stage of construction to the finished product. With an eye for detail and knowledge of how things go together and work together and what happens when they don’t. I enjoy teaching people why they have an issue, what caused it, how to repair it and how to prevent it from happening again.
